Henry
Sinai, the founder and managing partner
of IP-Partnership, is a qualified and experienced Patent Attorney
familiar with US and European practice, having over twenty years
experience in Israel.
In
1994 Henry joined the
Patent and Trademark offices of Tally Eitan and Heidi Brun and together
with Zeev Pearl was one of the original team of Lawyers and Patent
Attorneys which during the next seven years helped to build up the
office into one of the larger Intellectual Property Law offices (Eitan,
Pearl, Latzer, Cohen-Zedek (EPLC) in Israel. In
2001 Henry left EPLC
as head of the High-Tech Patent Dept. to set up the offices of
IP-Partnership.
Henry
has degrees in Mechanical/Civil Engineering and Law. Fields of
expertise include Computers (hardware and software), Mechanical, Image
Processing, Printing, Medical Devices, Telecommunications and
Semiconductors. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications
worldwide, resulting in the registration of over a hundred patents. Prior to moving to Israel,
Henry
Sinai was the Chief Executive for a successful civil engineering
company.
Associate Members
Daniel J. Swirsky
is a registered Israeli patent attorney and US Patent
Agent. Prior to becoming a Patent Agent, Mr. Swirsky enjoyed a career
in information technology as a computer and network specialist for
Price Waterhouse and Union Bank of Switzerland, and as IT management
consultant with Coopers & Lybrand and McKinsey &
Company.
Dan Swirsky specializes in
patent drafting and prosecution in the areas of computer hardware and
software, networking and Internet technologies, and electronic
commerce. Dan has drafted and prosecuted patent applications for
companies including Motorola, 3Com, and Texas Instruments, as well as
for many well-known Internet start-ups.
Avner Korman M.Sc., MBA, is a registered patent attorney,
specializing in the areas of medical equipment, electro-optics, physics, electronics, computers and storage,
internet, communication, SW, security & HLS, cyber and artificial intelligence technologies.
Avner Korman has also over thirty years of experience in company managements
consulting related to financial management and in fund raising via International private and
institutional VCs & funds, and from strategic industrial and distribution partners.
Experienced in clients' merchandising of IP assets and in licensing of IP and production/marketing rights.
Avner has extensive experience in consulting of young and mid range companies
in international marketing and distribution; business development, strategic planning and markets identification,
targeting of new product-lines and services and the creation of strategic alliances with leading
international strategic partners and companies.
Edward Langer is a registered patent attorney before the
Israeli and US patent offices. He is admitted
to U.S. District Court for the Western Dist. of Pennsylvania and the Court of
Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Ed Langer has over twenty five years of experience in patent prosecution
and litigation, designs and trademarks. Ed has degrees in Electrical
and Electronics Engineering (BSEE) and Law (JD) as well as an MBA. He specializes in the areas of communications,
computers, electronics, power systems, mechanics, optics, physics and semi-conductors.
David Klein is
a patent agent registered both in the US and Israel with over fifteen
years of experience. David specializes in drafting patents in many
fields, including mechanical engineering, optics, agriculture,
telecommunications, transistors (circuit and chip level), Internet, and
many medical fields, including medical imaging, ophthalmology,
gynecology, dentistry, radiosurgery, stents and others.

Hanni Rosenzweig
Hanni Rosenzweig has more than
fifteen years of
experience practicing Trademark and Intellectual Property Law. Formerly
a
Senior Associate with two renowned IP law firms in Israel, Ms.
Rosenzweig
specializes in registration, prosecution and enforcement of trademarks
and
designs, including selection, clearance, development and management of
international trademark and domain name portfolios, IP licensing,
anti-counterfeiting and enforcement issues, policing the unauthorized
use or infringement
of clients' rights. Ms. Rosenzweig has advised Fortune 500
multinational
companies and leading Israeli companies dealing in apparel, the
electronics
sector, hi-tech and more.
Hanni Rosenzweig has lived in the USA,
Germany, and Israel,
and is fluent in all three languages. She is a graduate of the Tel Aviv
University Law Faculty (L.L.B. 1995); a graduate of the Tel Aviv
University
Film and Television Department (B.A. 1985); a member of the Israel Bar
Association (1995); and a member of the International Trademark
Association
(INTA).

Ellen Shankman, Esq.
Ellen B. Shankman, Esq. has more than twenty years experience in Trademark and
Intellectual Property Law. Ms. Shankman specializes in international
branding,
trademark and trade name counseling, including the development and
management
of international trademark portfolios, for technology and other
companies. Ms.
Shankman is admitted to practice before the Israel, New York,
Massachusetts and
Maryland Courts, as well as before the U.S. Federal and Supreme
Courts.
Ms. Shankman
represents the Israel
ISOC, the administrative body responsible for Domain Name allocation
under the
.IL gTLD . Ellen is currently a member of the Policy Council of the
Generic
Domain Name Supporting Organization of ICANN representing the
Intellectual
Property Constituency and a member of the prestigious INTA Internet
Committee.
Ellen has served as a member of several Trademark and Internet
Subcommittees
and is the recipient of the 2002 INTA's first ever Volunteer Service
Award for
the Advancement of the Association for her work in the Internet area.
